Stonewood Log Homes began over 33 years ago in British
Columbia, driven by a passion for natural materials and a deep
respect for the timeless beauty of handcrafted log and timber.
We saw a better way to build — one that honored the
landscape, celebrated craftsmanship, and put families at the
heart of every decision.
Today, that belief is still our foundation. Every log we
handcraft, every timber we raise, and every home we build is a
reflection of our commitment to quality, honesty, and
relationships that last long after the final beam is placed.

In 2004, we designed a modest 800 sq ft retreat for a family looking to escape the city and spend more time together.
Over the next two decades, the property became something more. Family traditions were built, children grew up, and the cabin became an important part of their lives.
When the time came to expand, they returned to the same designer who created the original home.
Today, the property has evolved into a 3,700 sq ft custom residence while preserving the spirit of the original retreat.
