SINCE 1993
More Than A Builder
Custom log homes designed around the way
you live and built with timeless craftsmanship
that lasts for generations.
It started with a simple belief.
Stonewood Log Homes began over 33 years ago in British
Columbia, driven by a passion for natural materials and a deep
respect for the timeless beauty of handcrafted log and timber.
We saw a better way to build — one that honored the
landscape, celebrated craftsmanship, and put families at the
heart of every decision.
Today, that belief is still our foundation. Every log we
handcraft, every timber we raise, and every home we build is a
reflection of our commitment to quality, honesty, and
relationships that last long after the final beam is placed.
This isn’t just what we do.
It’s who we are.
OUR JOURNEY
1993
Stonewood Log Homes is founded in British Columbia with a vision for a better way to build.
1990s
Our reputation grows through word of mouth, one home and one
relationship at a time.
2000s
Today
Over 33 years later, our focus remains unchanged.
Building exceptional homes and lasting relationships.
Handcrafted without compromise.
A Home That Grew With The Family
What began as a simple cabin became the place
where family traditions were built.

800 SQ FT CABIN

Years
TODAY
3,700 SQ FT HOME
In 2004, we designed a modest 800 sq ft retreat for a family looking to escape the city and spend more time together.
Over the next two decades, the property became something more. Family traditions were built, children grew up, and the cabin became an important part of their lives.
When the time came to expand, they returned to the same designer who created the original home.
Today, the property has evolved into a 3,700 sq ft custom residence while preserving the spirit of the original retreat.
Craftsmanship. Integrity. Relationships.
We combine time-honored craftsmanship with a client-first approach to
create homes that are as enduring as the relationships we build.
DESIGNED BEFORE CONSTRUCTION
We use advanced 3D modeling to build your home virtually before a single log is cut. This detailed digital planning allows you to visualize every space, refine the architectural flow, and eliminate guesswork on the job site—ensuring absolute precision from day one.
HANDCRAFTED
LOG & TIMBER
We hand-select and hand-craft every log and timber. Our skilled craftsmen honor the natural beauty of wood with techniques passed down through generations.
LIMITED ANNUAL PROJECTS
We take on a select number of projects each year to ensure every home receives the attention, care, and time it deserves. Quality over quantity—always.
ONE TEAM FROM START TO FINISH
From design to the final log, you’ll work with the same team. We believe strong communication builds better homes—and stronger relationships
